When asked about the CPR and First Aid training, Colin Kollar said, "At JML, safety is at our forefront. We take great pride in providing our employees with the ability to work safely in a variety of changing environments." He went on to say, "The recent participation by JML employees in First Aid, CPR, and AED training will empower our staff to act as first responders both in our office and out in the field. Our goal is to reduce response time by emergency personnel from minutes to seconds, especially when every second could potentially make a difference." Colin acts as Branch Manager to JML's Cranberry, PA location, as well as Chairperson of the Safety Committee, which he was elected to for the year of 2018. Led by Colin, the Safety Committee meets on a monthly basis and is comprised of JML personnel from various positions. Any and all accident reports are addressed on a weekly basis during the individual branch location's "Tool Box" meetings.
JML Landscape Management is committed to providing a safe work environment for our staff, clients, and the community in which we live and work. In that spirit, JML has undertaken the initiative to provide formal training conducted by Allegheny Health Network in CPR and First Aid to staff throughout our organizational structure, including laborers, foreman, supervisors, senior managers, corporate personnel, and more. We are proud to report that JML now has on staff in excess of thirty (30) employees trained to provide potentially lifesaving CPR and First Aid.
